The Countdown Continues…on the City of San Jose’s website

Transition to digital television from analog.

I guess it’s something that we all need to think about — especially if we have old TVs. But does it need to be front and center on the City of San Jose’s website?

If you visit the City’s website you’ll see a huge ticking time bomb-type thing counting down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds to the transition from analog television to digital television.

At first, I thought it was the countdown to the much-anticipated shaving of Councilmember Oliverio’s beard/facial hair…but I was apparently wrong…

Does the City plan on having this eye-sore of a graphic on its homepage for the next 98…97…96 days? Let’s hope not.

But to spread the message, as a public service from Watch Dog, here is where you can find out more information — including where the City of San Jose got its countdown clock and how you can get one for your own website.
